Financial Services client located in Washington, DC seeks a Manager of FP&A.  The Manager of FP&A will be responsible for developing, reviewing and providing quantitative and qualitative analysis of operating plans, strategic plans and forecasts. S/he will also be responsible for maintaining budgeting systems, producing monthly budget variance reports and coordinating the annual budgeting process. The Manager will provide strong financial leadership and analytical support for growth initiatives. The Manager will also perform financial analysis of capital projects, products and services and analyze pricing and lease-buy options. Further, the Manager will perform post-audit projects to measure performance compared to projections and provide analytical support to accounting operations and finance. 

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Accounting or Finance is required, MBA or CPA is desirable
  • 7+ years of related experience; prior experience in the financial services industry preferred, International experience a plus!
  • Strong financial analysis skills, solid financial systems background (Excel, Hyperion, SAP etc.), working familiarity financial business processes.
  • Project Management and leadership skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to Senior Management
  • Thinks globally and incisively, taking a broad view of the full range of variables that could impact the success of the organization
  • Potential travel 5-10%
